Insomnia
Last night I went to sleep around 12:30am, but I couldn’t fall asleep even until 8:30am in the morning. I thought I was exhausted from yesturday’s full day CT/PET scan at the hospital. I got up and ate breakfast. Everyone’s surprised at how early I got up this morning. After about 3 hours, I finally got tired and took a nap from 11am-2pm. I guess it’s the pre-med I took that caused the insomnia. I am allergic to the contrast dye they inject in me for CT scan, so I have to take Prednisone, a type of steroid. One of the side effects of it is insomnia. No wonder my eyes were wide open and I was wide awake all night. @_@ I have experienced it before but this time the effect seems to have lasted longer.
