To chemo or not to Chemo
With the success of the second surgery and the pathology result, I now have the option of not having any more chemotherapy. It’s great, but the decision is a hard one to make. It’s been on my mind since the visits with the doctors earlier this month when the option is presented. On one hand, from the pathology report, it appears that the cancer cells in the tumor are all killed, which probably means cancer cells in other part of the body, if any, should also be killed. On the other hand, you just can’t be sure, especially having the tumor the size I originally had, it usually takes more chemotherapy treatments. I just had a CT and PET scan on wednesday. I guess we’ll wait for the result of those and see what the doctor recommends at next wednesday’s appointment.
it will be ok
