Surgery Result: SUCCESS!
It only took 4.5 hours. The incision is L or hockey stick shaped, straight down from middle of the stomach to an inch above the belly button and then to the right side of the body. The liver resection was smooth (cut out about 2/3 of the liver. It will grow back, so dont worry). Blood lost is about 300cc and therefore blood transfusion was not needed!
What’s great is the pathology report from the cut out liver piece indicated that the tumor cancer cells were already dead.
