Sperm Bank Termination
Got a letter a few day ago regarding the renewal of sperm stored at a sperm bank. yes, I deposited some a year ago right before having chemotherapy. They said chemotherapy should not affect the function of testicles, but just in case it did. They recommend it for patients who are not married and have not had children yet. It kinda a tough decision cuz you don’t know if you’ll ever need it. Once it’s terminated, it’s gone forever. After thinking about it for a few days, I finally come to the decision to terminate it. The funny thing is that the letter comes in three pages but it’s all about renewing and discounted prices. There’s no clear instruction on how to cancel it. I had to phone in to their office to have them fax me a copy of termination form which came with a section that’s is illegible. The form also required notary to make it official. It’s like they are making it really difficult to cancel the account. I don’t think that’s good service practice. Hopefully they’ll improve their procedures in the future.
