YES YES YES!!!

I saw the the doctor today and the ct scan came back with great result, still no sign of cancer!! The doctor gave me the option to have the medi-port implant for chemotherapy removed and of course I agreed to it! The procedure will be done on Tuesday 6/10 which is about 3.5 weeks from today. Even though the medi-port, or what I called my third nipple does not bother me too much, it does in occasion get “caught” and give a minor pinch while wearing a car seat belt or moving things that require the object to lean against the chest. I think I will miss it or maybe not haha ;) The doctor mentioned it’s been 16 months since my last chemotherapy, 16 months, time really fly by fast.

I did consult with the doctor about the stomach pain. Initially they said it can be caused by the contrast dye ingested before ct scan. A lot of people have diarrhea after taking the liquid. I updated them on that I did not have diarrhea but indigestion and they believe the anti-allergy medicine Prednisone is more likely to be the candidate for my condition. My stomach pain was still there at the doctor’s appointment but the belly is not as bloated as previous days. There were a lot of bowel movements in the morning. By night time I don’t really have the pain anymore, so I had a nice seafood meal for dinner with some long lost friends from high school. It is a really great day for me :)

Phlebotomist – an individual trained to draw blood. I just want to write this word down somewhere because I can’t remember it. Usually I call them vampires, it’s much easier to pronounce ;) What triggered this is that I bumped into Kevin, a phlebotomist, who’s the first to teach me that word because I called him a nurse which is not the right title and I still do. haha
