China Earth Quake
While having a cold, I managed to build a web app that’s helping in raising fund for the massive earth quake that took place in Sichuan China early May. The idea is to have people sign a virtual wall and invite their friends to sign it as well. Users are given the opportunity to pledge to donate when people sign the wall. Basically they can select the dollar amount per 1,000 signed and the maximum they are donating. When people are signing the wall, they will see how much is being pledged to donated for the next 1,000 signed. The users are also able to write a prayer or comment for the people that are affected by the earthquake. My heart goes out to all of them and hope that pain will be healed quickly, and that they can recover and rebuild their homes and back to “normal” lives soon. Peace and love~
