Bowel Cleansing
While the colonoscopy was nice and easy, the preparation a day ahead was unbelievably uncomfortable. Took the bowl prep called “Halflytely”. Had to take the 2 tablets (Bisacodyl) at noon. Started having the first bowl movement around 2ish. Then a few more. By 6pm started drinking the solution. Then had to run to the bathroom like every 15 mins for 2-3 hours. Had to apply some Vaseline as recommended to you know where because it started to hurt from too much wiping. The “stuff” went from solid to liquid, from brownish to yellowish, from opaque to clear. So exhausted from it! It’s like having serious diarrhea problem.
