Hi, I just getting your web from my sister, she told me some about your brave adventure to go through the colon/liver cancer procedure with a very positive mind.Congratuation and you are very lucky. Now, let me introduce myself, I'm a colon cancer patient and doing the chemotherapy treatment, the procedure is taking 12 times to complete. Now, I'm doing the 9th times, still have 3 more to go, it seems not too long to wait, but, it is very long, long marching to me,the treatment suppost taking every 2 weeks, but this is the 3rd times to be delay for me, 'cause my blood test is going drop down each time, and making everything is not on schedule. Each treatment week make me feel very painful, uncomfortable, depress and always make me feel not to live anymore. By your experiment, can you let me know or show me how to handle or solve it? Thankyou. God bless you.

Hi Jason, I just was amazed to find someone going thru the samething I was going thru almost @ the same time. I had my resection on February 14,2006. I went thru chemo for a few months & thank God til this day I am able to hold everything down. I went from 222 lbs to 98lbs in less than a year. I went to many doctors but none could tell me what I had. I finally came to the city & registered in a clinic from where I was referred to a GI Dr. He was the greatest man alive to me at that moment. He sent me to get an emergency colonoscopy done & thats when he told me what was finally wrong with me. I was sent to see the surgeon, who is in my eyes the best. He did my surgery Feb. 14, the 15th I was on clear liquids & the 16th I had an order of pork fried rice & 2 porkchops. I was almost a year without being able to hold anything down. I gained all my wonderful weight back which I'm soooooooooo happy with. I'm cancer free & hope & pray we can both continue like that. I read ur very active, thats great. Keep up the good work & stay strong & like u say, live strong.Take care.

Hey!! Well... To be honest, i just discovered your MySpace because I was visiting BoA's MySpace. Then, I saw her friends, and I just saw the "Add Me" and I was curious, but when I read your blog (Just because I am gossip), I was amazed and of course so happy to know there is people like you. My grandmother also has colon cancer, and well. Maybe It's not me who has it, but I know how hard it is to be still positive. Also, a friend of mine died from colon cancer last year. I know it's not an easy fight, but because of people like you, this world is still better everyday!!! So congratulations!

Most sinceresly, your friend from Mexico:

Hello,

I had a mediport installed last week, and it goes across my collarbone -- it looks like yours did, too. How long before the pain subsided from the tube going across the top of your collarbone?

Thank you for any info!
